Work, sleep, and play; there are so many things that can consume a day. I work over forty hours a week and I am always on my feet. After work is my time to run errands, take care of the cat, clean the house, hold down the fort on my own, and find time to relax. All those little things that consume my day should not be to much when I have added a online course. In order to be successful and excel in Eng111, I will need to learn how to organize around my work schedule and handle everything with patience.
Working retail can be overwhelming, trying to make every customer satisfied can drain all of my energy. Most of the time I work much later than I am supposed to, so by the time I get home I am very exhausted. I am on my feet all day, running back and forth is endless. Not to mention the difficult customers that make the day ten times more stressful. At times I get impatient, which can get in the way of what I need to get done.
The main thing that I am worried about affecting the course, is my husbands deployment in the beginning of February . This will be our first deployment, and the longest time we have been away from each other. Their will be the times when I worry, as well as withdraws that I will have. Well when it comes down to it I am not to sure how I am going to handle it. I will have to stay busy and this course will be a perfect way that I can do just that. So I do not have to many things that will distract me, but being around the house for to long will be hard to do.
What I will need to do in order to be successful and excel in Eng111, is to balance my time and my emotions. Stress is a main factor that tends to get in my way when I need to get something done. Following my level of stress, is my level of worry. When stress and worry combine they do not mix together very well. I will need to learn how balance my emotions and my time. For me it is just a matter of balancing all my factors into place, so that I am able to complete this course successfully.

Introduction
I was born in 1988 and raised in Northern Nevada. In February of 2008 I signed the duty to be an Army wife, which brought me to Fairbanks in March of 2008. For English 111 I am expecting to the class to be a challenge considering I have never taken a class online. Taking a class online is a little intimidating to me , so I am hoping that I will do as good as I think I can. I have needed this class in order to have a photography internship at the paper. During my senior year I wrote for the school newspaper, but towards the end of the year the school stopped funding the program. In my free time I am a freelance photographer and one day I plan on fulfilling my dream to be a photojournalist.
